A monthly concert series presented by the Carl Sandburg Historic Site Association in the "Barn" at Carl Sandburg's Birthplace, in an intimate smoke, and alcohol, free environment, showcasing acoustic music in the traditional and folk style. 313 E 3rd Street, Galesburg IL, (309) 342-2361. Saturday August 30th 7:00PM - SULLIVANBURTON One of
the finest Celtic bands around. Always loads of fun! A favorite at
clubs and festivals across the state, including a recent, very well
received performance at Chicago Celtic Fest. Bruce Burton, Tom Jones
and Shannan Sullivan delight audiences with vocals, guitar, fiddle,
whistles, bodhran and more. Check

Saturday Sept 27 7:00PM - THE GILDED BATS. A very traditional old-time string band from Iowa City featuring guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, washtub bass and vocals played by Bill Bryant, Andrew Epstein, Norber Sarsfield and Chris Clark.
